#6 UMD women’s hockey shuts out Bemidji State for series sweep

After losing six straight games, UMD women’s hockey has found their stride, taking down Bemidji State 6-0 on Saturday for the series sweep.

UMD didn’t get on the board in the first period, but in the second, came out firing, scoring five goals. Jenna Lawry, Olivia Wallin, Clara Van Wieren, Caitlin Kraemer and Grace Sadura all found the back of the net in the second period, with Kamdyn Davis scoring in the third.

The UMD defense was exceptional, as Tindra Holm only faced 13 total shots, saving all of them.

UMD turns to take on Minnesota State Mankato on Friday at 3:01 p.m.
