On Saturday, the 7 seed Duluth Marshall boy’s hockey team beat #10 Northern Edge by a score of 9-1 to get to the quarterfinal round.

After just one goal from the Hilltoppers in the first period off the stick of Pacey Adduono, Duluth Marshall came out firing, scoring three goals in the second period, as Ethan Lindgren and Kyler Black scored in addition to Adduono netting his second.

In the third, the Hilltoppers scored even more, as they found the back of the net five times. Goal scorers included Blacks second as well as Adduono’s third for a hat trick, with Rienat Sukhonos, Landon Hernesman, and  Mason Musel all scoring one of their own.

The Hilltoppers now move on to face #2 Andover on Tuesday.
