#8 UMD women’s hockey blanked by #1 Ohio State, bounced from WCHA semifinal

On Friday, the 8th ranked UMD women’s hockey team tried to get revenge on #1 Ohio State, who beat them four times in the regular season. However, Ohio State would put up five goals to defeat UMD, 5-0.

Five different Buckeyes scored in the game, beating sophomore goaltender Hailey MacLeod time and time again.

UMD now must wait until Sunday to hear their name called for participation in the NCAA tournament.
