Eighth ranked UMD Women’s Hockey sweeps weekend with emphatic 6-0 victory
#8 UMD Women's Hockey couldn't stop scoring on Saturday, beating Bemidji State 6-0.
The UMD Women’s hockey team couldn’t stop scoring on Saturday, as they defeated Bemidji State 6-0.
The win was the 400th win in league play, which makes them only the third WCHA team to do so.
The Bulldogs scored three goals in the first period and three in the second. Mannon McMahon, Jenna Lawry, and Olivia Wallin all scored one goal each, while Clara Van Wieren stood out above the rest, scoring two.
Winners of four straight, UMD will return home next week to take on St. Thomas.
