#8 UMD women’s hockey taking things one game at a time ahead of series with #10 St. Cloud State
Having won four straight games and looking for home ice in the playoffs against #10 St. Cloud State, the #8 UMD women’s hockey team is taking things slow this week, hoping not to get ahead of themselves.
“One game at a time, you know,” said head coach Maura Crowell. “I’m just thinking about Friday night and getting our team ready for that one game, and I think that’s how we have to approach it. We’re still battling for points, we’re battling for home ice, we’re battling to get in the NCAA tournament. Knowing that we’re going to see them in a couple of weeks, I think we get better every time we play, so I’m not sure that we’ll be the same team necessarily.”
The Bulldogs drop the puck against the Huskies on Friday at 3 p.m., and will also be hosting senior day on Saturday.
