A pair of Northland basketball stars have been named Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA) All-Stars. They are Cloquet’s Jack Battaglia and Duluth Marshall’s Brooks Johnson.

Battaglia led the Lumberjacks in points this season, totaling 670 in 27 games. Johnson led the Hilltoppers averaging 26.3 points a game.

They will tip-off in the 43rd annual MBCA All-Star game this Saturday at Anoka Ramsey Community College.
