Bulldog alum, Whitecaps captain Sydney Brodt invited to ECHL All-Star Classic

On Wednesday University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey alum and Minnesota Whitecaps captain Sydney Brodt was selected to participate in the 2023 ECHL All-Star Classic.
She’s one of four professional female skaters from the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) and Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) to earn an invite. The others are fellow PHF player Ann-Sophie Bettez of the Montreal Force, and Emily Brown and Sam Cogan from the PWHPA.
The Classic will take place January 16 in Norfolk, Virginia. It will feature an ECHL All-Star game and skills competitions.
