Bulldog men’s & women’s basketball teams dominate Minnesota Crookston

On Thursday both the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s and women’s basketball teams notched dominating wins over the University of Minnesota Crookston at Romano Gym.
Despite trailing early in the first half the Bulldog men would come back to win 89-61. UMD’s Drew Blair led the game scoring 19 points while Jack Middleton added 17. They improve to 6-2 on the season.
Earlier in the day the UMD women would roll to a 83-58 win over the Golden Eagles. They were led by Brooke Olson scoring 21 points with Lexi Karge adding 14. They protect their perfect home record improving to 5-2.
Both programs will next visit Bemidji State University on Saturday. The women tip-off at 1 p.m. and the men at 3 p.m.
