Career night leads Bulldogs’ Brooke Olson to NSIC North Player of the Week

Scoring a career-high 35 points Saturday Brooke Olson lifted the 13th ranked University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s basketball team to a 87-75 win over Southwest Minnesota State University.
Then on Monday she was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) North Division’s Player of the Week. It’s her second honor this season and the sixth of her career.
The graduate forward out of Rice Lake, Wisconsin averaged 32 points over the weekend helping the Bulldogs improve to 17-2 overall.
