On Thursday Superior sisters Greta and Lily Clark served up in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) DI state tennis tournament.

The Clarks, a doubles duo, are the first Spartans to go to the state tennis tournament since 1997. They defeated Stevens Point last Wednesday to win sectionals.

However, in round one of the state tournament held in Madison, Wisconsin, they would fall to Madison West’s Iasbelle Gao and Gabrielle Tiberi 6-1 and 6-0. For the full doubles bracket, click here.

Greta is a senior at Superior High School, and Lily is a sophomore. According to Superior High School they finished their regular season 13-0 in doubles play.
