Cloquet baseball went up against Superior and won in a nail-biter

In Superior, the Spartans took on the Cloquet Lumberjacks for a Tuesday afternoon match-up.

Bottom of the third, the Lumberjacks were up by 2-0, and Alex Omenge went looking to increase his team’s lead, but the Spartans got him and Kollin Bonnevile out to end the inning.

Brady Anderson would go on to break the tie in the 8th inning to secure the Lumberjacks’ 4-3 win, as they improve to 2-1.
