Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boys lacrosse holds off Duluth Marshall for first playoff win
Despite trailing 2-1 at halftime, the No. 4 Cloquet-Esko-Carlton (CEC) boys lacrosse team would come back to beat No. 13 Duluth Marshall 7-5 in round one of the Section 7A tournament.
The match was tied 5-5 with 7:35 left in the game. This marks the first-ever playoff win for CEC, currently in their first season of varsity competition.
The Lumberjacks (10-2) advance to the quarterfinals where they’ll host No. 5 Centennial (7-7) Thursday at 7 p.m. For the full bracket, Click Here.
