On Tuesday, the Cloquet/Esko/Carlton boys soccer team shut down Duluth Denfeld, winning 2-0 to extend their win streak to nine.

The Lumberjacks were off to a hot start offensively in the first half, as the duo of Noah Hansen and Hudson Snesrud connected twice to put the Lumberjacks up 2-0.

CEC’s defense would carry them the rest of the way, en route to their ninth straight win.

The Lumberjacks take on Hermantown on Saturday, while the Hunters try to bounce back against Proctor on Thursday.
