Cloquet Girl’s Soccer stifles Denfeld, wins big

Cloquet Girl’s soccer continued their impressive campaign, beating Denfeld 3-0 on Monday night.

First, it was Kiley Issendorf who opened the game’s scoring with a nifty shot past the Denfeld goaltender.

Denfeld would continue to make timely saves, but Cloquet kept knocking on the door. Eventually, it was Addison Sandman who netted Cloquet’s second goal.

Cloquet improves to 7-2 on the season and will face Proctor on Thursday, while Denfeld matches up against Duluth East on Thursday as well.
