CSS and UWS men’s hockey falls at home

College of St. Scholastica men’s hockey entered into Friday’s game against Saint Mary’s sitting a-top their conference, riding three straight sweeps. The Saints fought hard to keep their winning streak going, but it wasn’t enough for the Cardinals as they fell at home 7-4.
Filimon Ledenkov netted the first goal for the Saints in the first three minutes of the game Carsen Richels, Alec Severson, and Nathan Adrian scored for the Saints.
The Saints will be back on the ice on Saturday to finish off their two-game homestand against the Cardinals. Puck drops at 2 p.m.
Across the bridge, University OF Wisconsin Superior dropped the puck against ninth-ranked University Wisconsin-Stevens Point to open their final regular season series.
Jordan Guiney scored the only goal for the Yellow jackets as they fell at home 2-1 to the Panthers.
The Yellowjackets and the Panthers will hit the ice against each other on Saturday to finish out the Yellowjackets regular season. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
