Anthony Vo wins MIAC Defensive Player of the Week

Anthony Vo of the College of St. Scholastica football team took home the MIAC defensive player of the week on Monday.

Vo, a Junior linebacker, led the Saints with nine tackles, four of those being solo stops, and recorded a sack as well.

As if it wasn’t a good enough day for the Junior, he also had a rushing touchdown in the Saints 38-18 win over Crown College.

The award is the first weekly award that CSS has achieved since it joined the MIAC in 2021.

Vo and the Saints are back in action next Saturday against Concordia.
