CSS men's basketball bests Bethel, women fall

On Wednesday the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) hosted Bethel University for a basketball doubleheader.

The CSS men would pull off a 70-64 victory over the Royals earning their first Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) win of the season. The Saints’ Andre Crockett Jr. led the game with 22 points. CSS (2-9) next hosts St. John’s University Saturday at 3 p.m.

The CSS women would fall 78-61 to Bethel snapping a three game winning streak. Hannah Compton led CSS with 12 points. Now 5-5 the Saints next host the College of Saint Benedict Saturday at 1 p.m.
