CSS men's basketball drops MIAC opener to Augsburg
On Wednesday the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) men’s basketball team fell 77-73 to Augsburg University in their Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) opener in Duluth.
The Saints were led by Noah Winesett (Duluth) with 20 points and six rebounds, Moe Washington with 16 points, and Port Wing native Koy Nelson with 12 points.
CSS has now suffered three straight losses to sit 1-3 on the season. They’ll look to rebound Saturday as they host Macalester College for a 3 p.m. tipoff.
