Putting in time on and off the court goes hand and hand, and over at the College of St. Scholastica, that combination was recognized on Thursday.
The National Association of Basketball Coaches announced that the CSS’s men’s basketball program earned its tenth consecutive team academic excellence award. This award recognizes programs that completed the academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The five players recognized were seniors Connor Bich, Isiah Hendrickson, and Yohanes Addiss Gebeyehu (who earned the honor for the second time.) Juniors Luke Raymond and Noah Winesett earned their first award each.
The five honorees tie for the most since the 2017-18 and 2021-22 seasons. The Saints have had 63 players named to the NABC Honors Court since 2004-05.
