The Superior Showdown concluded with CSS men’s hockey taking down the host, UWS, 3-2 in a thriller.
The game went the Yellowjackets way early, as Justin Dauphinais scored in the first period.
In the second, UWS added to their total, as Chris Ishmael found the back of the net to go up 2-0, but the Saints answered quickly with a Wyatt Wurst goal.
From there, the game was all Saints, with Brodie Girod scoring the game tying goal in the third period, and Jacob Seitz with the game winner.
CSS turns to take on Hamline on Friday at 7 p.m., while UWS looks to bounce back against UW-River Falls, also on Friday at 7 p.m.
