CSS’ passing leader Zach Edwards earns international football award
Zach Edwards is the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) football’s most prolific passer, and now the quarterback has earned a top professional football honor. Over the weekend Edwards was named the European League of Football’s (ELF) Offensive Player of the Year for 2024.
Playing for the Paris Musketeers, Edwards threw 207 passes for 3,057 yards and 34 touchdowns, while only giving up seven interceptions. The 26-year-old also ran for 792 yards and eight touchdowns on 120 attempts.
He had also earned an MVP nomination. Edwards reigns as the ELF’s all-time passing leader with 11,992 career yards.
