CSS’ pitcher Payton Jeffries signs with Huskies

St. Scholastica baseball sophomore pitcher Payton Jeffries is staying home this summer, signing with the Duluth Huskies.
Last year with the Saints Jefferies had a 6.04 ERA while pitching a total of 25 innings for CSS.
In that time he went 1-3, registering 17 strikeouts on the mound.
He joins a Huskies team who are amid their playoff push with only nine games remaining in the regular season.
