CSS softball would take a 2-0 lead late in game one of their doubleheader, but ultimately fall 6-2, however they would win in game two, 2-0 against Gustavus Adolphus.

In game one, there wasn’t much scoring until the 5th inning, where the Saints put up two runs.

In the top of the 7th though, the Saints would surrender six runs, and couldn’t muster any in the bottom half of the inning.

In game two, the Saints put up two runs in the bottom of the first, and then held Gustavus Adolphus scoreless the rest of the game.

The Saints are back in action on Sunday in a doubleheader with Macalester.
