CSS women's basketball holds off St. Olaf for third straight win

The College of St. Scholastica (CSS) women’s basketball team picked up their third straight win on Wednesday besting St. Olaf College 48-43 in Duluth.

The Saints led 28-22 at halftime, but were outshot 21-20 in the second half. No matter, because Ava Haus’ 15 points, Hope Carlson’s 10 points, and Kloey Lind’s 10 rebounds would keep them in front.

CSS improves to 7-5 overall and 4-1 in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) play. The Saints next visit Gustavus Adolphus College Saturday, January 11 at 3 p.m.

The CSS men would also top St. Olaf on Wednesday, winning 81-62 behind a 23 point performance from Koy Nelson. Now 6-8 they visit Gustavus Saturday at 1 p.m.
