CSS women's hockey steals bridge battle win over UWS in overtime
The College of St. Scholastica (CSS) women’s hockey team earned their first win of the season Tuesday, downing the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) 1-0 in overtime at Mars Lakeview Arena.
Grace Chapman scored the game winning goal for the Saints just 1:07 into overtime. Makenzie Cole earned the shutout for CSS recording 34 saves. UWS’ Molly Black had 26 saves.
CSS (1-7) is off until Friday, December 6 when they visit Hamline University. UWS (4-5-1) is off until December 7 when they visit UW-Eau Claire.
