CSS’s Lexi Imdieke was awarded MIAC Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Year

The College of St. Scholastica women’s basketball program had one of its own receive a big honor on Wednesday.
The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced that Lexi Imdieke was named Rookie of the Year; after leading all first-year players with an average of 12.3 points per game this season.
She becomes the first Saints women’s basketball player to earn this achievement since entering the MIAC. Along with winning ROTY, she is one of the eight players to receive an honorable mention distinction, with nominations and votes made by the 12 MIAC head women’s basketball coaches.
Imdieke, a starter also led all MIAC first-year players in minutes played, averaging 30.5 minutes per game. She led her team in eight categories in CSS’s overall team statistics during the 2022-23 season.
