On Tuesday the Duluth Denfeld boys basketball team rallied past Hermantown earning a 83-77 win at Hermantown High School.

Marnaries Ferguson scored 35 points for the Hunters, and the Hawks’ Abe Soumis would record his 1,000th career point.

The game was a rematch of the 2022-2023 Section 7AAA championship game where Hermantown won 70-59 to advance to the state tournament.

Denfeld improves to 2-1 while Hermantown falls to 0-3.
