Denfeld girls soccer downs Proctor for third straight win

All the goals at Public Schools Stadium on Wednesday were scored in the second half as the Duluth Denfeld girls soccer team topped Proctor 2-1.
Luci Chastey and Alyssa Doyle scored first for Denfeld while their keeper Cayley Larsen made five saves.
Sophie Folkestad scored the final goal of the night for the Rails.
The Hunters earned their third straight win to improve to 3-3. Next they’ll face Duluth Marshall on Saturday. Proctor (1-4) hosts Grand Rapids on Saturday.
