Denfeld’s Doyle, Seguin sign letters of intent
Two Denfeld girl's soccer players signed their letters of intent on Monday.
On Monday at Denfeld High school, Alyssa Doyle and Camryn Seguin put pen to paper and committed to play for UMD and Saint Scholastica, respectively, to continue their soccer careers.
For both, a big part of their commitment was not having to say goodbye to the sport that they love.
“I just kind of had a moment where I was like, I’m not ready to be done playing soccer in one year,” said Doyle. “So that’s when I kind of started to be more serious about looking at playing at the next level.
Seguin added, “I’ve been playing soccer since I was really little and I wasn’t planning on playing college, but then the opportunity kind of came about and I was like, ‘you know, I don’t think I’m ready to be done.'”
