Over the weekend the Duluth Curling Club based Team Mellin won the 2024 Five-and-Under National Championship in Chaska, Minnesota.

It was a nice step up for the Northland curling team after taking silver in 2023.

Team Mellin consists of Matt Mellin, Joe Daly, Derek Farrell, and Jackson Purdy. They’re coached by Korey Dropkin.

Team Mellin went undefeated throughout the event. They downed Team Meyer of the San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club in the championship game.
