A long-standing streak was snapped on Tuesday night, as Duluth Denfeld boys basketball won their first game over cross town rival Duluth East since 2018, 64-52.

Marnaries Ferguson and Berkley Messel led the Hunters with 21 and 13 points respectively. Duluth East’s Brennan Meyer poured in 16 points of his own, with Ty Nyberg behind him with 11.

Denfeld turns to take on North Branch on Friday at 7 p.m., while Duluth East hits the road against Woodbury on Friday at 7 p.m.
