Duluth Denfeld girls basketball claims first victory of season
On Monday night, the Duluth Denfeld girls basketball team took down Carlton/Wrenshall 46-28.
After putting up just 16 points total in their first game, the Hunters were on fire from the field in the first half, propelling them to an early lead, which they’d never look back on.
Laynie Reinertsen was the leading scorer with 13, while Tori Nylund pitched in points.
The Hunters look to make it two straight wins when they take on Proctor on Tuesday night, while Carlton/Wrenshall looks to bounce back against Fond Du Lac Ojibwe on Tuesday.
