Duluth East boys basketball outlasts Cambridge-Isanti in battle of McDonald coaches
Hall of famer Mike McDonald, head coach of Cambridge-Isanti, took on his son, Rhett McDonald and his Duluth East Greyhounds Saturday, with Duluth East boys basketball winning 55-52.
The two teams were in a back and forth battle throughout the entire game, but Duluth East was able to separate themselves in the closing minutes of the game to claim their 6th win of the season.
Duluth East turns to take on White Bear Lake on Tuesday 7 p.m.
