Duluth East boy's hockey snaps losing skid, beats Mounds View
A neck and neck contest benefitted the Duluth East boy’s hockey team on Saturday, as they beat Mounds View, 4-3.
The Greyhounds got on the board first, as Noah Teng found the back of the net just over 12 minutes into the first period. Mounds View would tie things up at 1-1 just 40 seconds later though.
In the second period, each team doubled their production, scoring two goals each. For the Greyhounds, Ian Christian and Kyle Peterson did the trick, but going into the third period, it was a 3-3 staelmate.
In the third, Wyatt Peterson got the puck on a breakaway and went bar down for the goal, which was ultimately the game winner.
The Greyhounds are back in action next Saturday against Blaine.
