Duluth East boys hockey suffers season opening loss to White Bear Lake
The Duluth East boys hockey team opened their season at home Friday night, however would fall 4-0 to White Bear Lake. This marks the fourth year in a row the Bears have bested the Greyhounds to open their season.
Blake Eckerle scored first for the Bears to lead 1-0 after the first period. Noah Norman added another for White Bear halfway through the second, then Eckerle scored his second to lead 3-0 after two periods.
Duluth East (0-1) returns to Heritage Arena Saturday, November 23 to host Blaine at 3:30 p.m.
