Duluth East girls soccer picks up 5th straight shutout win

On Wednesday the Duluth East girls soccer team earned their fifth straight shutout win defeating Cambridge-Isanti 3-0 in Duluth.
Grace Karakas scored first for the Greyhounds giving them a 1-0 lead at halftime. Kendall Wittmers-Graves made it 2-0 off a penalty kick in the second half, then Lilly Kuettel scored the final goal of the night securing the 3-0 win.
The Greyhounds are now on an eight game unbeaten streak, and haven’t given up a goal since September 16. Next Duluth East (8-3-2) visits Bemidji Friday at 5 p.m..
