Duluth East tops Grand Rapids thanks to strong second half

On Monday night, a strong second half allowed Duluth East boy’s basketball to beat Grand Rapids, 79-54.

After a back and forth first half, it was Duluth East who kicked things into second gear and turned into an offensive juggernaut to put Grand Rapids away.

For the Greyhounds, they’ll face Hermantown on Friday looking for double digit wins, while Grand Rapids hosts Duluth Denfeld in their season finale.
