Wednesday was an exciting night at Public Schools Stadium.
Duluth FC played host to Minnesota United’s U19 team as part of the Minnesota Super Cup.
They currently compete in the MLS Next youth league, with talents appearing for MNUFC2, the professional reserve team for the MLS’ Minnesota United.
The Super Cup allows top clubs to see different teams from across the state.
The final score between Duluth FC and Minnesota United’s U19s was a 1-1 draw, with Tyler Limmer scoring for Duluth.
This means that Minnesota United tops the Super Cup group with four points, while Duluth sits in second with one point. If Duluth wins or draws with Minneapolis City in the final group game, they will advance to the knockout stage.
