Duluth FC uses strong second half to advance to NPSL Midwest Region Finals

In their first regional semifinal game since 2022, Duluth FC shut out Des Moines United FC 2-0 in the 2024 National Premier Soccer League Regional Semifinals.
The Bluegreens were deadlocked at the half at 0-0, but a second half featuring a goal from Liam Pritchard in the 67th minute and Rory Doyle in the 79th minute were enough to advance Duluth to the Midwest Region Finals.
It’s the seventh shutout pitched by Duluth this season, and second straight for goaltender Jamie Colvill.
There, the Bluegreens will take on Steel City FC in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Saturday.
