Duluth girls hockey bests Cloquet-Esko-Carlton on Bonnie's Night
On Tuesday the Duluth girls hockey team defeated Cloquet-Esko-Carlton 2-1 winning on Bonnie’s Night at the Essentia Duluth Heritage Center.
Bonnie’s Night celebrated 79-year-old Bonnie Shea, the first girl to play organized hockey in Duluth, by raising a ‘Notables Banner’ at the rink. For her story, Click Here.
Mae McCall scored the first goal for Duluth helping the Northern Stars improve to 5-5 on the season. They next host Moose Lake Area Thursday at 7 p.m.
The Lumberjacks (4-6) next visit Sartell/Sauk Rapids Friday at 7:15 p.m.
