Duluth Huskies allow eight unanswered runs, falling at home

The Duluth Huskies wish they could have had the last two innings back of Friday’s matchup with the Eau Claire Express, falling 10-9 after maintaining a 9-2 lead for the majority of the game.

The Huskies offense scored five runs in the first three innings, and eights runs in the first five innings.

Two runs in the top of the 8th closed the gap but wasn’t anything to think twice about, but in the 9th, the Huskies surrendered six runs to allow the Express to pull ahead.

The two teams go at it again on Saturday at 6:35 p.m..
