Duluth Huskies can't match Big Sticks offense, fall in home opener
The Duluth Huskies rode a four game winning streak into their home opener on Sunday, but fell to the Badlands Big Sticks 6-2.
The lone Huskies offense came in the bottom of the third, when Joe Vos laced a triple into the outfield, and then was brought in by an Ethan Cole single.
The majority of the Huskies struggles defensively were in the first half of the game, as the Big Sticks scored two runs in the second and three in the fourth.
The Huskies and Big Sticks are back in action on Mondat at noon.
