Duluth Huskies hang on to lead after near collapse

On Sunday, the Duluth Huskies held on to win a thrilling 9-8 matchup against the Rochester Honkers.

Both teams scored in the first inning, but in the second, the Huskies put up five runs in the bottom half of the inning.

However, the Honkers would put up runs in the 4th, 5th, and 6th innings to narrow the gap, but a three run bottom of the seventh inning for Duluth was enough to fend off the Honkers.

The two teams meet up again on Monday.
