Duluth Huskies sweep doubleheader against Eau Claire Express
On Monday, the Duluth Huskies played their second doubleheader in as many days with the Eau Claire express, and swept it, winning game one 16-5 and 6-3 in game two.
In game one, despite the Huskies falling behind 3-1 in the first two innings, a seven run bottom of the 6th inning in addition to three runs in both the bottom of the 7th and 8th innings was enough to put up the Huskies highest run total of the season.
In game two, the Huskies used a grand slam from Reagan Reeder, who also hit a home run in game one, to propel past the Express.
The Huskies next take the field on Tuesday against the Rochester Honkers.
