On Friday, Duluth Marshall would look to start their season off with a win against crosstown rival Duluth Denfeld.

The Hunters would strike first in the top of the fourth, with Vinny Udd coming in on an RBI from Connor Hell.

The Hilltoppers would respond in the bottom of the fifth inning with a deep shot from Aaden Westerbur that would bring in both Max Berrisford and Charlie Hayden.

The Hilltoppers would start their season off right with a 2-1 win over Denfeld.
