Duluth Marshall girls lacrosse hosts first-ever home game, falls to Duluth Wolfpack

The Duluth Marshall girls lacrosse team, in their inaugural season, hosted their first-ever home game Tuesday. However the Hilltoppers would fall 14-4 to crosstown foes the Duluth Wolfpack.
Scoring the first-ever lacrosse goal at Hilltoppers Field would be Duluth Marshall’s own Ella Hron. The eighth grader scored 40 seconds into the game recording her team-leading seventh goal of the season. Also scoring for Marshall were fellow eighth graders Ada Burrows and Lucy Lane, netting their first goals of the season, and Nina Thorson scoring her fifth of the year.
Scoring first for the Wolfpack was Gracyn Schipper.
Marshall School (0-5) returns to action Friday night at Champlin Park. The Duluth Wolfpack (5-5) next host Owatonna Friday.
