On Tuesday night, the Duluth Northern Stars took down Cloquet-Esko-Carlton on their home ice 2-1 in overtime, thanks to a game winning goal from Gracyn Shipper.
Shipper net the first goal of the game deep into the second period to give the Northern Stars the lead, but CEC scored in the third period to knot things up at 1-1.
Just seven seconds into overtime, Shipper scored again, her second of the night and second assisted by Bailey Theis.
Duluth turns to face Northern lakes on Friday at 7 p.m. while CEC looks to bounce back against Rock Ridge on Thursday at 7 p.m.
