The Duluth Tropics and Rock Ridge Legion baseball teams met on the mound on Friday afternoon in the Minnesota Senior Legion Baseball Division I Northeast Substate semifinals.

Duluth would kick it into gear in the third inning with Bjorn Lind hitting the ball into center field, the shot would bring in two runs to make the score 2-0. Then Dylan Cole would shoot the ball past shortstop to give Duluth another run.

Duluth would remain undefeated as they took home the win with a score of 11-2. They will take on Grand Rapids in the Division I Northeast Substate Tournament finals on Saturday July 27. The first game will be played at 1PM at Mettner Field in Cloquet, the second game – if necessary – will be played at 3:30PM.
