Despite getting their bats going in the second inning on Thursday the Duluth Huskies would drop game one of their Northwoods League series to the Waterloo Bucks 8-6 at Wade Stadium.
Offensively Kasen Wells led the Huskies with two RBI, one hit and one run. On the mound Preston Tenney and Isaac Rohde each dished out four strikeouts for Duluth, with Rohde only allowing one hit over three innings pitched.
Duluth will now look to split their series with the Bucks in the finale Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. back at Wade Stadium.
