Champions were crowned at Giants Ridge on Wednesday where the Section 7 Nordic ski meet was held.

The Ely boys took first as a team, edging out Duluth East by just four points. The Timberwolves’ Dylan Durkin placed first overall in both the Pursuit and Classic races, with times of 30:42.0 in the Pursuit and 15:23.0 in the Classic. Ely also won the Relay.

For the girls, Proctor/Hermantown claimed first as a team just one point ahead of Duluth East. Della Bettendorf won the Pursuit and Classic races, with times of 32:58.0 in the Pursuit and 16:26.0 in the Classic. The Rails won the Relay too.
